    VISAS

     

    Visa applications from foreigners who live within the Romania can only be submitted at the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bucharest. 

     

    How to apply for a visa?

    If you are traveling to one Schengen country, you should apply for a Schengen visa at the Embassy/Consulate of that country.

    If you are going to visit more than one Schengen country, you should apply at the Embassy/Consulate of the Schengen country which is the main destination of your travel.

    If the schedule of your journey does not indicate the main destination of your travel, you should apply for a visa at the Embassy/Consulate of the Schengen country which you will enter as first during your trip.

    In case of transit by only one Schengen country, you should apply at the Embassy/Consulate of that country. If you travel in transit through several Schengen countries you have to apply at the Embassy/Consulate of country you will enter as first during the transit.

    The application for a visa should not be made more than three months before the planned journey.

    Please note that the passport submitted with the visa application must meet the following requirements:

    a) Its validity should extend at least three months after the planned date of departure from the Schengen area,

    b) It should contain at least two blank pages,

    c) It should have been issued within the last 10 years,

    For persons included in the applicant's passport, a separate Schengen visa application form should be submitted. An individual visa sticker will be issued for each person included in the applicant's passport.

    For minors, a visa application form should be submitted and signed by a person exercising permanent or temporary parental authority or legal guardianship.

    Follow the instructions listed below:

    • On the home page click on the Visa icon (left hand side of the page)
    • Choose the icon - register form.
    • Read the 4-step instructions provided.
    • Book your Visa appointment (bottom of page)
    • Fill in your Visa application (it will pop out)
    • Save the application and process your data
    • Print out your processed Visa application and appointment details

    Next, you are welcome at the Consular Section of the Polish Embassy on the day of your appointment.

    Remember to bring your Visa appointment confirmation, application form and all required documents to the Embassy on the day of your visit

     

     

    For holders of the passports of Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Democratic  People's Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Kyrgyztan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Mauretania, Morocco, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria,  Oman, Pakistan, the Palestinias,  Philippines, Qatar, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia,  Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen, holders of documents for Refugees and Stateless persons the processing time takes about one month and the procedure may be extended.

     

     

    For holders of other passports, the processing time takes up to two weeks. The procedure may be extended.
